Final Fantasy 13

Post by AnAsianKid1 on Tue Feb 02, 2010 11:47 pm

FAIL! jkjk
anyone else hear about the 360 version having to be made in to 3 discs?
I mean its not that bad but 3 discs is a tad much.
Which is why I'll be getting it on PS3.

What system will you be getting it on and why?

i think thats a pretty lame reason to hate on the 360 version. we've been playin RPGs that span 3-4 discs for years. lost oddysey was 4 discs, heck the critically acclaimed ff7 was 3 discs, why is this a problem now? thats hardly a reason to dislike the 360 version of the game. i'd see if it lacked some content like magics or items, or looked uglier but multiple discs?...come on man, thats petty.

3 discs is not really that good though .

GOW 1 and 2 is on one disc .
360 should really deal w/ that .

a WAAAY better example. both GOW games where very short, all three MP games where 30+ hours lowest with WAY better graphics than both GOWs. the main reason why 360's version of ff13 is 3 discs is the exact same reason ff7 was 3, the cutscenes. if ff13 used the ingame engine for scenes, i doubt it woulda took up 3 discs. ES:oblivion is proof of this, it was 5x the size ff13 and it took 1 disc.

k if there is one more bad comment about the FFVII 360 version having multi discs, im locking it because all u guys have to say is 'i dont like multiple disc' thats it, dont [u]just[u] continue to discuss about it anymore on why does it have to, other games can so why cant FFVIII, get over it. Im not trying to be mean or defensive, im just trying to cut topics, like this one, from becoming side tracked or turning into arguments

Yes it was, but doesnt need to turn into free shots against the 360 version, its sort of the topic creators fault for starting it

disk swapping isnt bad at all.It beat's installing.Installing waste's alot more time and Memory.

And actually,Square Enix should make it into 2 disks.Bioware did Msss Effect 2 in 2 disk's and that game would hold alot more than a JRPG.

See,disk swapping is VERY SIMPLE.It took me less then 10 second to for Mass Effect 2.

Ex:At the end of ME2,before you go though the Omega 4 Relay(which leads to final place),it will say "Please insert disk 2".Then i open my disk tray and put the second disk in.Then i close the disc Tray and done.Thats all.It isnt CLOSE as bad as you guy's make it out to be.Im not kidding,it took me 10 seconds.I counted.

PS:Im just trying to explain disk swapping, not to argue.

no what where not? the GOW games bein short? they where. i clocked about 4hrs with first one and about 6 on the second...i died a bit more on that one. thats short even for an action game.

i know i don't own a ps3, but that don't stop me from playin it. wait...what does that have to do with the multiple disc thing?

I was only talking about how 3 games on a Wii disc is a better example for his statement than 2 games on a blu ray disc. It had nothing to do with the games themselves.

I'm getting it on the PS3. The only perk the 360 version has is the extra clothes for your avatar, but the PS3 might even have that for your Home character. The PS3 version is one disc, which I like better than multiple discs, and it has 1080p graphics and uncompressed audio.
