Sega all-stars racing demo impressions

Post by GeelburT on Tue Feb 09, 2010 12:56 pm

Well, I played the Sega all-stars racing demo, and it was REALLY fun! I played the hell out of that demo dispite it not having online multi and only 1 track.
I think this game is pretty much just as good as Mario Kart, if not better.

So tell me guys, have you played the demo? if so, tell me what you think about it?

It's good, not as good as Mario Kart though - in my opinion. But it's still good, but not great.

This is THE most blatant Mario Kart rip-off I have ever seen. The way you collect weapons is the same and the weapons themselves are the same. That being said, the game is not bad at all. It's decent. I wouldn't buy it ever, but I didn't hate it. It was interesting to see Billy Hatcher from Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, a game I loved on the Gamecube. I wish Jack from Madworld was in the game so I could rip Sonic out of his vehicle and ram a chainsaw through his face. But, it's an E game, so that's wishful thinking on my part.

It's not better than Mario Kart and it's not better than ModNation Racers (another very similar game), but it's not bad at all.

Don't forget Sonic came before Mario Kart, so it's that with power-up

The protagonist of Dante's Inferno was created before Kratos, so that must mean that God of War is a Dante's Inferno clone.

Sonic is always coping Mario. Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario RPG, etc.

Sonic doesn't even hold a candle to Mario there is no contest.

No because Kratos was a actual person in greek times. But Mario Kart is a Sonic Drift clone with power-ups.

No, wrong. Sonic copied Mario with that. Mario kart came out before Sonic Drift. -.-

I only said that because you said Mario Kart copied Sonic drift when they were three years a part in their release date.

There is a Cratos in Greek mythology, but the character Kratos in God of War is entirely made-up, as is the story of God of War. Also, Sonic Drift came out in 1994 and the original Mario Kart came out in 1992.

I think Activision owns Crash as well as Spyro now. Jak . . . I think Naughty Dog still owns Jak, but I'm not sure. If they don't, then Sony does, which doesn't make much of a difference.
