Reggie embarrassed over sony Move
Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime has told online gaming publication IGN that he’s ‘blushing’ over Sony’s forthcoming motion controller which is officially named PlayStation Move.
“If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery then I’m blushing I’m so flattered.”
“You know, I didn’t see the announcement. I did spend some time at the booth and saw some of what they were demonstrating and I think the question isn’t how will we react — I think the question is, so what is it that’s going to be compelling to the consumer in what they’re doing?
“From our standpoint, motion control is core to what we do. We believe that we’ve brought a range of different experiences that utilize the motion controller and we pride ourselves on being innovators in the space and we’re going to continue to innovate. I think the key question is, how will they respond when we continue to innovate if this is their best effort?”

And rightly so. With inaccurate controls and an seemingly poor choices of games, the Sony's Move is very likely going to bomb.

yeah io do see where your coming from there. but they have both established themselves quite well and i dontt see the point in changing things up in the middle of a consoles lifespan. i think they should hold off at least till their next consoles

Re: Reggie embarrassed over sony Move
I've had a theory about move and natal for a while. The reason they won't work near as good as the wiimote is simple. You have to stay in front of a camera constantly...you can't just relax. With the wii remote you can go anywhere in the room, especially if you don't have to use the sensor bar. The motion still works completely wirelessly, so you can still have a blanket over you or something and be able to RELAX and just PLAY. With natal and move your going to have to get up, get ready, and not be able to completely sit back for every game. I'm pretty sure this goes for move, because I assume that the ball shaped thing is just like the wiimote sensor, EXCEPT it's ball shaped so that it can go in all directions rather than a flat pointer on the screen, it becomes a three dimensional thing and uses all IR to be able to detect the controller.

who know they might not work in the dark at all, you probably gotta play it in light especially natal since the thing is suppose to be racist against black people according to article
