Should I Replace my broken DS Lite with a DSi? Is the DSi better?

One of the hinges on my DS Lite broke. I was wondering whether I should get a DSi to replace it (would you recommend it). I wanna know if specifically the build quality is better and if its superior to the DS Lite.

Unless you want the GBA slot taken away and has DSiWare games and Internet with a crappy camera, then get the DSi or DSi XL. If you want to keep the GBA slot with none of those stuff as the DSi have, get the DS Lite. Enough said.

I say get dsi if you have the money if not wait for the 3ds

just get a DSi. you probably have some form of a GBA right? So no need for the second slot. DSiWare has a few good titles, combined with the decent camera, its just better value.

I do not have a GBA. But the BC removal does not bother me. Because I most likely will get a Game Boy Micro.
